We are excited to share more details on the design of our latest watch, the TimeKeeper Type-A Automatic. At Primitive Haus (previously known as James & Muriel), our focus has always been on creating high-quality timepieces that are both affordable and meet our customers' needs. The Type-A is the result of five years of experimentation and refinement, based on customer feedback and we are so happy that we can finally share it with you.

Compared with the original TimeKeeper, The Type-A's unique design feature is the 24-hour dial, which replaces the usual 5-minute markers with hour indicators. This not only simplifies the dial but also allows for a clear illustration of the flow of time through a full day. We've also enhanced the watch's durability by increasing the water resistance to 200 meters and using super luminova to improve nighttime legibility. We’ve also upgraded from a battery-powered Quartz movement to an automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve, ensuring reliable timekeeping in any situation.

We've also upgraded the strap options adding a steel bracelet with a micro-adjust clasp, as well as rubber and NATO strap options, making the Type-A a versatile watch that's ready for any adventure. And with five beautiful color variants to choose from, each dial is meticulously designed with unique color combinations and finishes that reflect our design philosophy of simplistic versatility, inspired by the Bauhaus and the works of Dieter Rams.
